Hoppy tours was started in 2018 between friends David Twigg and David Bowman who both share the passion for great beer and delicious BBQs. Twigg, an Astrophysicist Professor from Cambridge turned master brewer moved to Krakow in 2013 to open Twigg Breweries in the Soviet Realist District of Nowa Huta, Krakow. His story is quite incredible and worth coming on the tour for that alone! It was in 2014 where Twigg and Bowman met and developed a strong friendship. After several private tours involving many beers and BBQs among friends, they recognised the opportunity to give beer and food loving enthusiasts a unique and interactive insight into the Twigg brewery that you wont get from your normal brewery tour. Tasting the raw ingredients, visually learning step by step the beer making process, drinking young and fresh beer straight from the vat, all followed with 10 different variety of beers to taste over a traditional Polish BBQ. A fun and memorable brewery tour was born like no other
